There are three different ways to get custom ringtone easily:

- You can use iPhone apps to create free ringtones

The easiest way to acquire a free iPhone ringtone is to download from some of the well-reputed websites online. Moreover, these websites also provide you the chance of uploading your favorite songs and converting them into a custom ringtone for your iPhone. All you need to do is to logon to the website that allows you to make ringtone. Click on upload and then select the song that you want to customize in your PC and then click on open. You must wait until the site completes uploading and processing the song.

Creating Ringtones with iPhone Apps:

You need to download and install the preferred app on your iPhone and then select a song that you need to set as a ringtone. After selecting the song, you need to set the length and stop time of the ringtone. In the free version, you will get 30 seconds and in the paid version, you can enjoy 40 seconds. There are also some advanced features accessible in the paid version. When you are satisfied with the ringtone, you can save it on the app.
To use this ringtone in your device, you must open iTunes and connect your device to your laptop or PC. Then select the iPhone device, move on to apps and look for file sharing. Then select the ringtone and click on save to. This saves the ringtone on your PC. Then open the folder where you have saved the tone, drag and drop it in the iTunes window. This will save your ringtone under Tones in the iTunes library. Choose the ringtone from the iTunes library, drag it and drop into your iPhone. Creating Ringtone Using iTunes:
First, you must open the iTunes and choose the song that you need to set as a ringtone on your device. Then right click your mouse and select get info. A window will appear with a tab named Options?. You must set the stop time below 30 seconds, save it and close the window. Then right-click on the song and select -Create AAC version. Then choose the AAC version of the song and right-click it. A drop-down list will open from which you should choose Show in Windows Explorer.
You can change the extension of the file from *.m4a to *.m4r. When you drag the new ringtone from windows explorer to the iTunes library, you can see the ringtone under Tones. Now you can add ringtone to your iPhone from drag and drop and you can set it on your device.
